1-Minute Brief
A meticulous ground-up interior transformation of a premium Mumbai apartment, prioritising light, material honesty, and maximised spatial efficiency in a constrained floor plate.
Project Description
The Mumbai Residence project challenged Snehchin to translate their UP residential sensibility into a Mumbai high-rise context. The 2,800 sq ft apartment required complete architectural reconfiguration: walls were removed to create an open-plan living and dining zone anchored by floor-to-ceiling glazing overlooking the Arabian Sea. Interiors leverage a restrained palette of natural oak, white terrazzo, and brushed brass. Bespoke joinery maximises storage within compact bedrooms. Consultancy involved navigating MCGM approval requirements and coordinating with the building's original structural engineer. A signature feature: a double-sided fireplace separating the living and study.
